Do you find yourself rushing from task-to-task?

We are running, life is running. Daily chores, work deadlines, peer pressure, relationships, health worries and what not! There is so much to run for and run after and amidst this run we only end up taking a break when life actually knocks us down.

So, why not take a pause on a regular basis in various situations and then focus back?

When did you last take a pause intentionally for yourself? Just to take few deep breaths, recharge your energy, access your inner wisdom or just feel connected?

This pause is not just about taking a break from the routine but also to give your race of thoughts, worries and illusions a mindful pause. This is necessary because there will always be something in life to worry for and once that worry is resolved there will be something new to worry for and this goes on.
So, let’s talk about it and push the pause button.

Studies have also shown that having a true positive attitude makes your view of work seem broad, full of possibilities. Continuous efforts are needed to develop positive thinking in life so that our lifestyle, work style and productivity can be further increased.

Alp Viraam is an activity organised by the Anand Vibhaag, Madhya Pradesh to encourage people develop positive thinking in life and learn the art of taking mindful pauses. It promotes the idea of taking short breaks in life and get involved in recreation activities that refreshes the mind, replenishes your mental resources, and helps you become more happy & creative.

On a regular basis, one-day ‘Alp Viraam’ programmes are organized by the department in Bhopal and other divisional headquarters. Apart from this, such programmes are also conducted by trained Anandam volunteers in all the districts of state for a duration of 2-3 hours. Every month on the first and fourth Saturday, Anand Vibhaag organises these Alp Viraam sessions from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm at their office for all the members and volunteers.
