Women's empowerment can be defined to promoting women's sense of self-worth, their ability to determine their own choices, and their right to influence social change for themselves and others. An empowered woman knows she is enough, just the way she is. She understands her value – at home, at work, in the world – and knows what she deserves. She deserves respect, a seat at the table, equal pay for equal work, opportunities to grow.

Women Empowerment is not just about educating them but also ensuring their positive partnership in the economy of the country and state . which can be done by their economic empowerment . and for that they require certain skill sets to get self emloyment or public as large such as SHG(self help groups). I think creating or developing as many as SHG's by women will be helpful for women empowerment and state as large economically as well as socially.
