Is a hand painted tribal art dupatta your favourite ethnic pick from Madhya Pradesh as a locale or even as an international tourist?
Hand-painted with intricate historical designs and art that depicts the true tribal livelihood of the Indian villages running all across the length of the dupatta. While celebrating the richness of Indian arts, it is also important to know about the origin and artists who showcase these tribal artworks.
In order to promote a distinct tribal art of Madhya Pradesh, IFAD (Assisted), Tejaswini Rural Empowerment Programme under the aegis of Madhya Pradesh Women Finance and Development Corporation via Tejaswini Programme is organizing a competition to test your knowledge of ‘tribal art paintings on canvas’.
This art comes with the belief that a good image brings good luck. An obvious example of this art is the custom of decorating house walls with vibrant depictions of flora, fauna and Gods, as an activity that records history.

The contest gives you a chance to win a cash prize of Rs 2500/-.
Click here to view a picture of the tribal art and then answer the following questions:

2. Who are the artists behind this artwork?
