The State Disaster Emergency Response Force (SDERF), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh in collaboration with MP MyGov urges the citizens to share their views on flood safety measures; so that flood protection measures can be made better and safer in the state.

We know that natural calamities like floods can happen at any time and these disasters are sometimes so frightening and huge that it becomes impossible to stop. But small precautionary measures in such disasters can help us to a great extent in protecting ourselves. For example-

During Flood...
✦ Do not panic and inform about the waterlogging on emergency toll-free number 100, 1079, 108.
✦ Stay at a safe distance from the river banks.
✦ Take special care of children, women and the elderly.
✦ Do not cross the bridge if there is water and avoid unnecessary commute.
✦ Do not take selfies near culvert /tunnel/ rock.
✦ Do not go for a picnic in places where there is a high velocity of water.
✦ Residents of rural areas should not go to far distances to graze cattle during the rains.
✦ Rural people must keep emergency items like air filled tubes, ropes, torches, bamboo, whistles etc. in their homes.

The State Disaster Emergency Response Force (SDERF), Madhya Pradesh is continuously working towards preventing disasters, ensuring the safety of people at the time of disaster and towards improving the security measures in the state.

The State Disaster Emergency Response Force, Madhya Pradesh invites your suggestions for public awareness on precautionary and protective measures during a disaster like a flood.

बाढ़ , भूकम्प यह सब प्राकृतिक घटना हैं जो की कभी भी घटित हो सकती हैं , और कभी भी विशाल रूप ले सकती हैं |
इससे बचने के लिए निम्न उपाय अपनाएँ -
पानी में डूबा रास्ते में गाड़ी न चलाये। कोइ दूसरा रास्ता ढुडें।
गिरे हुए बिजली के तार से बहुत सावधान रहे। अगर यह पानी में गिर जायें तो उस पानी में हर वय्क्ति मौत का शिकार हो सकता है। घर में डूबे हुये बिजली के तार से भी यह खतरा है।
सांप तथा अन्य जानवर आपके घर में घुस सकता है, उनसे सावधान रहे।

Baadh se bachne ke liye hame uche chhetro ke ghar bnana chahiye. Badh bade bade shehro ko bhi prabhavit krti hai. Hmare shehro me nadi or chhote chhote nale na hone ke karan badh aati hai agr hum nadi ya nale bna de to pura pani usi se hokar kisi bade nadi m mil jayega or badh aapda kam hogi.

हम जानते हैं कि प्राकृतिक आपदा जैसे बाढ़ कभी भी घटित हो सकती है
और यह आपदाएं कभी-कभी इतनी भयानक और बड़ी होती है
कि उसे रोक पाना असंभव हो जाता है और ऐसी आपदाओं में
जनधन कीवी अधिक से अधिक हानि होती है
बाढ़ आपदा की वजह से कई लोगों की जान चली जाती है
कई लोग बेघर हो जाते हैं बाढ़ आपदा गांव के साथ-साथ बड़े बड़े शहरों को भी
प्रभावित करती है

बाढ़ एक प्राकृतिक आपदा है इससे बचाव करना बहुत आवश्यक है बाढ़ हमारे देश में बहुत तबाही मचाती है बाढ़ लाखों लोगों की जिंदगी तथा लाखों घरों को सभा कर देती है इससे बचाव बहुत आवश्यक है इससे निम्न बचाव किए जा सकते हैं नंबर 1 बाढ़ आने पर हमें बाढ़ रहित स्थाना जैसे ऊंचे स्थानों पर आवाज बनाना चाहिए नंबर दो बाढ़ आने पर हमें खाने की चीजें तथा पहनने के कपड़ों को बचाना चाहिए
