Madhya Pradesh not only has a rich cultural and historical legacy but it is also famous for being home to Tigers, our national animal. Owing to its lush forests, ubiquitous greenery and several National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries, the state is considered a breeding ground for the big cats.

Tigers play an indispensable role in the development of biodiversity and the ecosystem. Its presence helps in striking an equilibrium between flora and fauna, and the food chain, making it an integral part of wildlife. The state houses 11 National Parks and 24 Wildlife Sanctuaries. Madhya Pradesh Forest Department, with the support of other organizations working for wildlife conservation and common public, continuously working to ensure the conservation of Tigers and effective management of wildlife habitats. This endeavor is fostering the growth of tigers and providing them a safe and congenial habitat in Madhya Pradesh.

On the occasion of International Tiger Day, which is celebrated on July 29 every year, the Madhya Pradesh Tiger Foundation, in association with Mp MyGov, is organizing a Poster Making Competition. Citizens are being requested to register their entries and participate in the competition. The aim of the competition is to sensitize citizens on the importance of tigers and to raise awareness on their safety and security.

The participants can upload their entries online at www.mp.mygov.in. The selected entries will be uploaded on social media platforms of MP MyGov and will also be used by the department, along with the name of the winner. The winners will also be conferred with mementos.

Rules for participation

    • Participants need to mention their name, district, and email id and phone number along with their entry.
    • The competition is open to every citizen of India.
    • All entries must be original.
    • The artwork and text used in the poster should be different in Hindi and English.
    • Participants are requested to submit their entry only in PDF/GIF/PNG format.
    • Each participant is entitled to one entry only.
    • An explanation (within 100 words) needs to be submitted along with the poster
    • Entries with incomplete profile will not be considered.
    • All entries will be evaluated by a specialist panel constituted by MP Tiger Foundation Society and the decision of the panel will be deemed final.
    • The allotment of the selected entry will be the property of MP Tiger Foundation Society and any changes in it will be protected by the department.
    • All participants registering their entries need to ensure that:

1. They have complied with all conditions
2. Their work of art is original
3. Their entries do not violate the intellectual property rights of any third party

Tiger reserve founded in 1973 for their protection and breeding to make sure that they protected in own habitats as well as in the zoological Park and sanctuaries. Now days the number of Panthera Tigris.

बाघों की घटती संख्या और इसके संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए हर साल 29 जुलाई को यह दिवस मनाया जाता है। विश्व भर में बाघों की घटती जनसंख्या को देखते हुए इस दिन के जरिए बाघों की बची जातियों को बचाने और इन्हें संरक्षित करने के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर प्रयत्न किया जा रहा है।

एक अनुमान के मुताबिक, विश्व भर में मात्र 3,200 बाघ ही बचे हैं। इनके अस्तित्व पर लगातार खतरा मंडरा रहा है और यह प्रजाति विलुप्त होने की स्थिति में है।

Please find my 2 Posters to save Tigers. The following are the explanation:
Poster 1 shows the intentions of targeting and haunting or killing tigers which is reflecting in human spectacle or eyes. This should happen to reduce population of Tigers.
Poster 2 has a kind of sacred meaning, Tigers are meant vehicle of Maa Durga. And she is requesting human beings to stop killing Tigers and Save them.

Tiger is not only India's national animal but he is a part of our ecosystem too.although he is an animal but we humans are actually behaving like animals or even worse then animals.How do we feel when our loved ones get judges or injured .The same animal feel when we kill their loved ones.so I request you stop hunting,poaching animals...
