Shaurya Smarak is a must-see place in Bhopal. The memorial has sculptures, monuments and exhibits dedicated to the nation's war heroes. A Madhya Pradesh Government initiative, this memorial is located in the heart area of Arera Hills near MP Nagar in Bhopal.

Directorate of Swaraj Sansthan, Department of Culture, Govt of Madhya Pradesh is giving you an opportunity to snap a selfie at the Shaurya Smarak and win some exciting prizes. Best 10 selfies will be selected by a selection panel of the department. The winners will be awarded a CD featuring patriotic songs and a book. Names of winners will also be broadcasted on Radio Azad Hind 90.8 MHz.

• All Indian citizens can participate in this competition.
• Only one entry per person.
• The backdrop should have a glimpse of Shaurya Smarak.
• Entries will be presented to a jury and the decision of the jury will be final.
• Send the photo in JPEG, PNG or PDF format.
• Any fraud picture or edited picture (Photoshop) will be subject to rejection.
• The photograph/s must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
• Please note that the photograph must be original and should not violate any provision of the India Copyright Act, 1957. No plagiarism will be tolerated.
• Swaraj Sansthan will hold exclusive rights on the winning entries.
• Participant is to make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since same would be used for further communication. This includes details such as name, photo and phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.
