The State Disaster Emergency Response Force (SDERF), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh in collaboration with MP MyGov urges the citizens to share their views on flood safety measures; so that flood protection measures can be made better and safer in the state.

We know that natural calamities like floods can happen at any time and these disasters are sometimes so frightening and huge that it becomes impossible to stop. But small precautionary measures in such disasters can help us to a great extent in protecting ourselves. For example-

During Flood...
✦ Do not panic and inform about the waterlogging on emergency toll-free number 100, 1079, 108.
✦ Stay at a safe distance from the river banks.
✦ Take special care of children, women and the elderly.
✦ Do not cross the bridge if there is water and avoid unnecessary commute.
✦ Do not take selfies near culvert /tunnel/ rock.
✦ Do not go for a picnic in places where there is a high velocity of water.
✦ Residents of rural areas should not go to far distances to graze cattle during the rains.
✦ Rural people must keep emergency items like air filled tubes, ropes, torches, bamboo, whistles etc. in their homes.

The State Disaster Emergency Response Force (SDERF), Madhya Pradesh is continuously working towards preventing disasters, ensuring the safety of people at the time of disaster and towards improving the security measures in the state.

The State Disaster Emergency Response Force, Madhya Pradesh invites your suggestions for public awareness on precautionary and protective measures during a disaster like a flood.

Agriculture and forest experts can have a brain storming session whether inthe area specified economically beneficial trees,e.h
Mangoe, guaha,ber ,sal , mahua, and timber giving trees can be planted.So many other types of trees can also be discussed.A detailed survey can be carried out and then a detailed discussion.This will be a very long term project.This will encourage huge employment.It will reduce soil erosion.In the nearby villages agri and forest processing units can also be stop-val a.

For the above problem ,trees should be planted on the river banks .The trees can be area specific ,better tootoplant trees which may give economic benefit after few years.

During a Flood Watch or Warning
Gather emergency supplies.
Listen to your local radio or television station for updates.
Have immunization records handy (or know the year of your last tetanus shot).
Store immunization records in a waterproof container.
Prepare an emergency food and water supply. Store at least 1 gallon of water per day for each person and each pet. Store at least a 3-day supply.
Bring in outdoor possessions (lawn furniture, grills, trash cans) or tie them down securely.

Flood is a natural disaster but we can minimise its effect
taken some steps like river link project.
As we know that some river are peninsular river in Which water flows maximum in monsoon season. So we
can link rivers.

badh ke samay unche sthanon per apna Ghar chhod Kar chale Jana chahie apni jaruri dainik jarur saman pass mein rakhna chahie jaise torch Marcus aur bhi davaiyan

बाढ़ से बचने के तरीके -1)हमे रेडियो सुनते रहना चाहिए
2) शहर का नाली को सफाई होनी चाहिए
3 बाढ़ से बचाव का सामान रखे जैसे lifejackt
4 सेल्फ़ी पिकनिक के लिए नदी के पास ना जाए

#Badh ki Samasya se grast kshetra me har ghar par har ek sadasya ke liye Tube rakhna chahiye. Sath me hawa bharane hetu pump bhi. Jisase badh jaisi aapat emergency sthiti me jaan bachai ja sake.
