In order to empower tribal women financially and socially, Madhya Pradesh government is continuously making efforts to connect the backward Gond and Baiga tribes with the mainstream society.

Gond and Baiga tribes, who traditionally lived in the mountains and cultivated their own rice, are now stepping up towards social and economic advancement.
